But commutes to Koramangala, Whitefield or Electronic City stretch to 34-40 minutes, the ward's Cauvery pipe network is only about a fifth of the city norm with a third of homes on borewells alone, and the streets mix busy shopping lanes with unfinished roads, open drains and construction dust.
